Although many people would rather not consider their mortality, we know that most people feel better once they have made or updated a Will. We aim to make the whole process as straightforward and as easy as possible.

It is important to review your Will periodically, particularly if your personal or financial circumstances change. We can review your current arrangements even if you made and store your existing Will with another solicitor.

If you are concerned about Inheritance Tax we can advise on ways you can be tax efficient both in your Will and in your lifetime. We can explain the tax exemptions and reliefs your assets may be eligible for. We can suggest appropriate structures including the use of Trusts if you wish to protect assets for particular individuals or in particular scenarios.

As well as an up-to-date Will, we recommend putting in place a Lasting Power of Attorney (‘LPA’) so that if necessary, decisions about your care or your affairs can be done seamlessly with a trusted person acting on your behalf. Click here to learn more about LPAs.
